The 2960X series of fixed configuration stacking switches are designed to bring enterprise grade connectivity to campus and branch locations. These powerful yet simple switches are highly scalable, energy efficient, and feature rich, providing the services and speeds modern businesses have come to expect from Cisco, without being over complicated or expensive. The 2960X-24TS-L comes equipped with 24 10/100/1000 Ethernet ports, as well as 4 SFP uplink ports which accept most standard Cisco Ethernet SFP optics. All 2960X switches are also stackable, allowing up to 8 switches to form a single unit with up to 80 Gbps of stack throughput. This is exceptionally useful in high density networks with large amounts of internal communication and data transfer, such as expansive wireless networks, companies that do internal video conferencing, or resource intensive hosted applications.? Stacking is an optional add on that requires a flex stack module and a FlexStack-Plus stacking cable, which are available upon request.
