Lifetime Warranty (Limited) – Explanation and Terms

Lifetime Warranty (Limited) – Explanation and Terms
At Networkser Group, we sometimes offer a “lifetime warranty” on select refurbished network equipment, including Cisco, Juniper, HP, Huawei and other brand switches, routers and access points. To ensure clarity, we outline below what this warranty typically means and any important limitations:
1. Definition of “Lifetime”
Our “lifetime warranty” does not refer to the lifespan of the original purchaser or an indefinite coverage period.
Instead, it applies to the serviceable life of the product—that is, for as long as we continue to stock, support, and provide components or suitable replacements for the specific model.
Warranty coverage will conclude if the product is discontinued, becomes obsolete, or can no longer be supported due to a lack of inventory or parts.
2. Scope of Coverage
Our lifetime warranty specifically covers hardware failure resulting from manufacturing defects that occur under normal use.
The warranty does not cover:
Accidental or physical damage
Misuse, abuse, or improper installation
Cosmetic issues (such as scratches, dents, or discoloration)
Normal wear and tear
Damage from environmental events (e.g., fire, electrical surges, flooding)
Accessories, consumables, or supplementary parts (such as power supplies, cables, or SFP modules), unless otherwise explicitly stated
3. Warranty Fulfillment
If a product covered under our lifetime warranty develops a qualifying defect, we will, at our discretion, repair or replace it with the same or an equivalent model, based on available stock.
Should we no longer have the item or a suitable replacement available, warranty coverage for that product will end.
A valid proof of purchase and the product’s original serial number are required to process any warranty claim.
4. Exclusions and Caveats
Our liability under the lifetime warranty is strictly limited to the repair or replacement of the covered product.
We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of use, business revenue, or data.
Please review our terms and conditions, processes, and warranty durations may vary. We encourage our customers to always request written confirmation of warranty details and to carefully review any applicable exclusions or limitations.
